Women's Volleyball Advances to AMCC Semifinals; Lions Defeat Panthers

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team advances to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) semifinals with a 3-1 win over Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday night.

Final Score: Behrend 3, Pitt-Bradford 1 (25-18, 29-31, 25-18, 25-15)
Records: Penn State Behrend (20-7), Pitt-Bradford (18-11)

* The Lions posted their second win over Pitt-Bradford this season in four sets
* Behrend will face No. 2 Penn State Altoona in the semifinals on Saturday
* The Linos had three players in double-digit kills and digs
* Cadence Jones and Alani Salas-Garcia each registered a double-double, while Kylie Fehlman added 14 kills and seven blocks
* Jones led with 15 kills and 19 digs, while Salas-Garcia had a team-best 14 digs and 12 kills
* Despite the eight attack errors in the first set, Behrend held the Panthers to just five kills for the 25-18 decision

* Jones recorded six kills  and hit .385, and Salas-Garcia posted five kills in a 25-15 fourth set
