* The Lions will be making their season debut this weekend at Washington & Jefferson
* Last season, the team finished with a 8-11 season
* The team has seven returning players along with seven newcomers
* Senior Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, Il/Vernon Hills) was selected to the CWPA Second Team All-Conference last year along with being named the team MVP
* Wood led the offense with 35 goals and 22 assists
