Women's Water Polo Handles Wheaton; Lions Fall By One to Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team split a pair of matches on day two of the CWPA Division III Weekend hosted by Grove City on Saturday.

Match One
Score: Penn State Behrend 19, Wheaton 11
Records: Wheaton (0-10), Penn State Behrend (4-5)

Key Moments:

* The game was tied 1-all early on in the first but the Lions never trailed
* Eleven different players scored at least one goal
* Kaitlyn True, Hope Edwards and Priscilla Gill each tallied a hat trick

* Down 14-12, the Lions scored back to back-to-back goals to knot the game at 14-all
* E. Addison scored the game-winning goal for Grove City with 21 seconds left to edge Behrend
* The Lions held an 8-6 lead at halftime, but the Wolverines outscored Behrend 9-6 in the second half
* Darragh Martin led with three goals, while Edwards, Susie Carillo and Lauren True tallied two goals
* Villasenor finished the game with seven saves
