Ramsey Named ECAC South Runner of the Week

Penn State Behrend women’s cross country junior Rachel Ramsey was named the ECAC South Division III Runner of the Week for the week ending October 11.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's cross country junior Rachel Ramsey (North Versailles, PA/East Allegheny) was named the ECAC South Division III Runner of the Week for the week ending October 11.

Ramsey placed 3rd out of 90 runners at the Gannon/Mercyhurst Invitational. She completed the 5K course in 19:52. She has been the Lions' top runner in all three of their races. Ramsey's 19:52 was a season-best, topping her 20:26 in her last run.

Behrend is back in action Saturday at the Oberlin Invitational. Race time is scheduled for 10 a.m.
