Notes:
* Both teams graduated players who totaled more than 50% of their team's 2024 goals

* SJF scored in the first 40 seconds of Wednesday's 3-0 win at home against Buffalo State.
* The Cardinals were 7-1 on the road last season; 0-2 so far this season
* Behrend was 9-1 at home in 2024; 1-1-1 thus far in 2024
* Other than the 2020 COVID-altered season (2-3-1), the Cardinals have never had a losing season under HC Molly Romano
* Romano finished a combined 9-10-4 in her first two years; her teams have gone 38-21-14 since, including today's game.
* The Lions didn't allow a goal for 537 minutes' down-the-stretch in 2024; the streak was broken when Ithaca scored in overtime to defeat PSB in an NCAA first-round playoff game played at Messiah
Up Next:
* Behrend will remain at home this week when it entertains Allegheny on Wednesday, September 10, at 7 p.m. and Houghton on Saturday, September 13, at 1 p.m. Both are non-conference games. The Lions defeated Allegheny 3-0 in Meadville, Pa. last year, but the Gators lead the all-time series 12-4-1. Despite a one-sided advantage in shots, Behrend bowed 2-1 at Houghton in 2024, the first loss inflicted on the Lions. Houghton leads the all-time series 5-3
