Behrend Women's Soccer Boasts Five All-Region Picks
The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team had five players named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III All-Region VII team, announced on Tuesday.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team had five players named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III All-Region VII team, announced on Tuesday.
Marlene Andrade, Riley Morningstar and Lindsey Pawlawski were selected to the First Team, while Bri Ross and Lizzie Hoff were chosen to the Second Team.
Andrade, the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Offensive Player of the Year, is earning her second All-Region honors after landing on the second team a year ago. The junior midfielder was a First Team All-AMCC selection and selected to the AMCC All-Tournament Team. Andrade ranked second on the team with nine goals and seven assists for 25 points.
Morningstar, the 2025 AMCC Defensive Player of the Year, joined Andrade on the All-AMCC First Team. She boasted a 0.43 goals-against average, allowing just eight goals in 21 games. Morningstar tallied 50 saves and posted 11 shutouts. The senior goalie was voted to the All-Region fourth team last season.
Pawlawski is earning her first All-Region accolades. She was named First Team All-AMCC for anchoring the defense that accumulated 16 total shutouts in 21 contests. Pawlawski held opponents to eight goals for a team 0.38 goals-against average. She added two goals and three assists for seven points and was named to the AMCC All-Tournament Team.
Ross, the 2025 AMCC Newcomer of the Year, was also named to the AMCC First Team. She tied for second in the conference with 12 goals and eight assists for 32 points. In conference play, Ross tallied nine goals and seven assists in just seven games.
Hoff was an All-AMCC First Team choice after tying for fifth in the conference in assists (7). She was also third on the team with eight goals and 23 points. Hoff tallied two goals in the AMCC Championship game against Pitt-Greensburg.
