FREDONIA, NY - The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team fell 3-1 to non-conference foe Fredonia on Tuesday night.
The Blue Devils rallied back from a 1-0 deficit to win the next three for the victory over the Lions (3-6). Behrend won the first set 25-22 but Fredonia posted a 25-12, 25-15 and 25-20 comeback in the final three sets.
Madison Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) led with 15 digs, while Rachel Frye (Leechburg, PA/Kiski) and Amanda Henry (Bridgeville, PA/South Fayette) each tallied eight kills.
Hannah Saunders (Elizabeth, PA/Elizabeth Forward) recorded 29 assists, five kills and one block.
The Lions return to action on Thursday at Thiel. Game time is 7 p.m.
