Erie Alumni Basketball Game Slated for Saturday

ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's basketball alumni will take on the Edinboro alumni at the Erie Alumni Basketball Game set for Saturday, October 22 at 5 p.m. The event will be held at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The Gannon men's basketball alumni will face the Mercyhurst alumni following the Behrend game at 7 p.m.

The game will benefit the Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School. The net proceeds will go to help their students have a successful first year. There will be 50/50 tickets available prior to the game. All current college students will be free to attend with a valid student ID, students 18 & under will be $1 or free with a school supply donation, adult tickets will be $5 to watch both games, and children under 4 are free to attend.

The game will feature some of the best players from each school over the last decade. This will not only make for two great match-ups, but will also bring all basketball fans in Erie together for one night to help raise money for a new local charter school.
