ERIE, Pa. – Matt Bittner (Lancaster, NY/St. Mary’s) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Baseball Player of the Week, announced on Monday.

Bittner led the Lions to three wins last week and helped the team secure the No. 2 seed in the AMCC postseason tournament.  The junior infielder hit .429 (6-14) on the week, including four extra base hits.  Bittner drove in 11 runs and was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases.
