Jacobs Named AMCC Pitcher of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Ryan Jacobs (Port Vue, PA/South Allegheny) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week, announced on Monday.

Jacobs threw 6.2 innings on Sunday against Ursinus in the opening game of the season in Fort Pierce, FL.  The junior pitcher struck out 10 and only allowed two hits to earn the victory.

The Lions will be back on the diamond tomorrow against No. 12 Alvernia.  First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
