Cory Beddick will begin his second season as an assistant baseball coach at Penn State Behrend.

Beddick, a 2010 Gettysburg College graduate and former baseball player for the Bullets, spent time as an assistant coach at his alma mater. He also served as a head coach for the Hempfield High School Summer League and the Mid-Atlantic Prospects.

A native of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Beddick was a three-year letterwinner and versatile infielder at Gettysburg. He played in 50 games and made 30 starts at first, second and third base as well as short stop during his four years with the Bullets.

Beddick graduated with a degree in political science and a minor in history. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, serving as the social and rush chair.

Beddick is currently enrolled in the Penn State Behrend MBA program.
