Bio

Koerbel is entering his second year on the Behrend baseball coaching staff.

Koerbel is the most decorated pitcher in the history of the Penn State Behrend baseball program. After leading the blue and white to back-to-back AMCC titles and NCAA appearances, he was named the AMCC Pitcher of the Year in 2008 and 2009.

As a senior pitcher he led the program with a 9-1 record and 83 K's in 60 plus innings. Koerbel completed his career as the Behrend Lions all-time leader in wins (27), complete games (18), strikeouts (251), and innings pitched (239.2) He was also tabbed to the ABCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Teams for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Koerbel was selected to the ECAC All-Star Team in back-to-back seasons and was named the 2009 ECAC South Pitcher of the Year.
