McKinney Named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week

Erie, PA. - Penn State Behrend’s own, Kyle McKinney was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Player of the Week for the week Sept. 6 -Sept. 13.

McKinney, a junior defender, helped Behrend record two shut-out victories against McMurry and Colorado College on their road trip to Rocky Mountain State.

With wins against two quality programs this week, McKinney has helped the men move up three places, capturing the number seven spot in the Great Lakes Region Top 10 poll.

Behrend men’s soccer team returns to action Saturday 18 at 3 p.m. to host the Westminster Titans.
