Bolea Named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - Senior goalkeeper Chris Bolea (Ambridge, PA/Ambridge) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Bolea led the Lions in net during a 2-0 week.  He recorded five saves while handing Pitt-Bradford their first conference loss.  In their next game, Bolea tallied one save in a 2-0 victory over Penn State Altoona.  Bolea now has four shut outs on the year.

Behrend (7-6-1, 5-1 AMCC) has won three straight games and four straight AMCC contests.

The Lions will be back in action on Wednesday for an AMCC match against Hilbert.  Game time is 1 p.m.
