Polosky Named AMCC, ECAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - Freshman Sean Polosky (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Polosky came through in the clutch for the men's soccer team on Saturday.  In their AMCC opener, the Lions found themselves down 4-2 with just minutes remaining.  Polosky netted his first collegiate goal to cut the lead in half.  Just under a minute later, Polosky fired another shot that deflected off of Jake Gamble to tie the game.  In overtime, Polosky beat the goalie for his fifth point of the match helping Behrend to their 12th straight AMCC regular season win.

The Lions will be back on the pitch Tuesday as they face off against defending AMCC Champion Medialle.  Start time is 6:30 p.m.
