Men’s Soccer Earns 2011-12 Academic Award

The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.

The Lions were one of 226 men’s soccer programs in the country, including Division I and II, to earn the award.  The honor is given to those teams who posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Behrend had a team grade point average of 3.08 and were the only Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) team to receive the award.
