Lions Ranked 8th in Latest Regional Poll

The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team is the No. 8-ranked team in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Great Lakes Region poll, announced on Monday.

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team is the No. 8-ranked team in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Great Lakes Region poll, announced on Monday.

The Lions (5-1) won two games last week and vaulted into the Top-10 for the first time this year.

Behrend is currently riding a five-game winning streak after dropping their season opener to Centre 2-1 in overtime.  The Lions have not allowed a goal in their last three games and have outscored their opponents 13-5 through six games this year.

Behrend will be back in action tomorrow at Case Western at 7:30 p.m.
