Track and Field ECAC Results
Individuals from the Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field team competed at the ECAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday and Friday.
TROY, NY - Individuals from the Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field team competed at the ECAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday and Friday.
John Cerminara (Williamsburg, VA/Jamestown) led the way for the Lions in two events. Cerminara placed seventh in the discus throw with a distance of 44.72m. Cerminara took 19th in the shot put at 13.75m.
Dylan Bilka (Seven Fields, PA/Seneca Valley) brought home fourth place in the pole vault. Bilka cleared 4.76m. In the high jump, Conor MacMannis (Fredericksburg, VA/Kubeszki) took seventh after jumping 1.91m. Denis Lydon (Plum, PA/Plum) competed in the 10000m run and took 12th place. Lydon crossed the line at 33:37.13.
On the women's side, Katie Monoskey (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) placed 15th in the disucs throw. Monoskey hit 36.02m.
Back on the track, Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) took 16th in the 5000m run, crossing the finish line at 18:04.86. Haley Hughes (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) took 23rd in the 3000m steeplechase at 12:19.09. Rounding out the Behrend participants, Katie Patterson (Erie, PA/Villa Maria) took 28th in the 10000m run, coming in with a time of 40:46.47.
