Lydon Named AMCC Runner of the Week
Erie, Pa.- Penn State Behrend men’s cross country runner Denis Lydon, was named AMCC runner of the week after his terrific performance at the Behrend Invitational Saturday.
Lydon helped the Lions finish 4th place in a field of 18 teams this past weekend, running a team best 27:43. Lydon’s time would also place him in the Top 15 runners at the event. Along with a few AMCC programs the invitational hosted two nationally ranked teams in Mt. Union and Case Western Reserve.
The next best AMCC time came from fellow freshmen teammate Denny Mello clocking in at 28:04.
You can catch Lydon and the Lions in their next meet on September 25 running at Carniege Mellon, the time will be announced at a future date.
