Monoskey Honored With AMCC Faculty Athletic Representatives Award

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team member Katie Monoskey (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) was honored with the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Faculty Athletic Representatives Award.

Monoskey majored in mathematics, earning a 3.98 GPA.  The senior received the school's Academic Excellence in Mathematics award, and was selected as the 2012 Behrend Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.  She is a two-time track and field team MVP and a three time Mason Dixon Conference champion.  Monoskey holds school records in four events (shot put, weight throw, hammer, discus), and was the highest point scorer in field events every year of her career.
