Bertges Named AMCC Runner of the Week For Third Time

ERIE, Pa. - Sophomore Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runner of the Week for the third time this season.

Bertges led the Lions to a ninth-place finish over the weekend at the DeSales Invitational.  A total of 41 teams and 424 runners participated in the meet.

Bertges ran the 6K race in 24:21 to finish in 12th place individually.  It was the first 6K race of the season for the women after starting with three 5K meets. 

Behrend will be back in action on Saturday at the Inter-Regional Rumble in Oberlin, OH. Start time is 11 a.m.
