ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend baseball program is excited to once again support Grady's Decision this winter. The baseball program will participate in a NO SHAVE November to raise attention and money for Grady's Decision.
"Grady's Decision is an amazing organization that Behrend Baseball supports for its undeniable positive impact it has on families," said senior pitcher Sawyer Prince. "Our program supporting Grady's Decision and people in a time of need is a priority for us."
Grady's Decision was created to help families experiencing premature births as well as those families with children needing specialized medical attention. Grady's Decision can assist with parking costs, food, housing and transportation needs. They serve as a beacon of hope through prayer, words of encouragement, gifts and acts of kindness. Grady's Decision provides an avenue for people to donate and assist these family members during this difficult and emotional time.
"Our program always looks forward to no shave November in support of Grady's Decision," said head coach Paul Benim. "Ryan Smith is an integral part of our baseball family, and through Grady's Decision he continues to make a positive impact on families in our region. Our players, alumni and families and friends have raised financial support for Grady's over the past years and we are proud to be connected with this incredible organization. Grady's changes people's lives for the better. We are proud to be a small part of it."
Please consider talking to a Behrend Lions baseball player or contacting coach Paul Benim about making a donation to Grady's Decision. You may also visit gradysdecision.com to donate directly.
