WASHINGTON, DC – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team collected its eighth consecutive win and sixth straight sweep, defeating Pratt and Gallaudet 3-0 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Match One:
Score: Penn State Behrend 3, Pratt 0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-14))
Records: Penn State Behrend (15-5), Pratt (5-10)
Key Moments:
* The win marks Behrend seventh straight
* The Lions had 13 players with two or more kills led by Eddie Cebula's seven kills
* Cebula hit .500 on 12 attempts and one error while adding five digs, one block and one ace
* Lewis Rhodes had five kills on six attempts (.833) and had two blocks
* Behrend registered 39 kills, 44 digs and nine team blocks (10 assist, four solo)
* The Lions took the first set, 25-16
* Down 8-5 in the second set, the Lions used a 13-4 run to take an 18-12 lead
* With a two-point lead in the third set (14-12), Behrend won the next 11 of 13 points to sweep Pratt

* Jack Wilcox recorded his third double-double of the season with a team-best 10 kills and 10 digs
* Cameron Schleicher posted nine digs and seven kills, while Joseph Sciscio added eight kills and hit. 500
* Luke Mumpower dished out 27 assists and Rhodes added six kills
* The Lions set the tone in the first set, only allowing 13 points
* Down 11-9, Behrend went on a 10-3 run to pull ahead for good at 19-14
* The Lions went on to capture set two, 25-18
* Behrend held a five-point lead in the third set at 19-14, but Gallaudet got within one at 19-18
